Laser Components

Connect with our team at SyntecOptics.com for CNC turning and CNC milling for precise laser surgical equipment, laser cutting, and defense products. We serve our customers with optical components used in laser optics applications like biomedical, defense, industrial and consumer segments.

Biomedical Lasers

Lasers have prominent applications in relatively new fields like optical tomography, which uses ultrashort laser pulses to detect abnormalities within the body, laser speckle flowmetry, which is used to detect changes in the blood flow within tissue. All-solid-state systems use high-performance lasers for mapping.

Lasik Component

One of the most established uses of femtosecond lasers for tissue modification is LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis). The precision and minimal damage achievable with femtosecond pulses are ideal for cutting the delicate transparent cornea of the eye. New types of vision correction are gaining acceptance.

Military Lasers

Defense Optics consists of a wide range of optical components, such as optical lenses, laser windows, laser prisms or optical testing tools. Our optical components are designed specifically to meet the demanding requirements of laser and defense applications. Defense laser optics industry is a leader in advanced optics.

Aluminium Lens Holder

With a long history of providing top quality, custom machining components for the optics industry, Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a client in the northeast to produce an optical lens holder. Machined from 6061 aluminum, this part was manufactured from a customer supplied print.

Industrial Lasers

Lasers can be termed as one of the most significant and prevalent inventions of the last century. They have created entire industries, optimized many processes and enabled thousands of applications. Selecting the right optical components for your industrial laser application increases both productivity and reliability.

Beam Delivery

Beam delivery systems are separated into two main categories: transmissive and reflective systems. Transmissive beam delivery systems are growing in popularity. Fiber optic technology now offers a high degree of polarization control along with high optical power transmission.

Imaging Components

At SyntecOptics.com, we offer CNC turning and milling for innovative microscopes, borescopes, and thermal imaging products as well as imaging components for biomedical, defense and Industrial imaging applications.

Biomedical Imaging

Biomedical imaging technologies utilize either x-rays (CT scans), sound (ultrasound), magnetism (MRI), radioactive pharmaceuticals (nuclear medicine: SPECT, PET) or light (endoscopy, OCT) to assess the current condition of an organ or tissue and can monitor a patient over time for diagnostic and treatment evaluation.

Modular Zoom

With a long history of providing top quality and delivery of intricate parts, the precision optical engineering team of Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a client to make a high magnification imaging component. Because of the thread pitch and close tolerance, this feature was challenging to produce.

Precision Stand Assembly

With a long history of providing top quality and delivery of intricate parts, the precision optical engineering team of Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a client to make a high magnification imaging component. Because of the thread pitch and close tolerance, this feature was challenging to produce.

Military Imaging

With a long history of providing top quality and delivery of intricate parts, the precision optical engineering team of Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a client to make a high magnification imaging component. Because of the thread pitch and close tolerance, this feature was challenging to produce.

Infrared Imaging

Infrared (IR) imaging is an important focus of military and defense research and development because so much of surveillance and targeting occurs under the cover of darkness. A seemingly impossible task such as imaging a threat moving behind foliage at night is made possible by new developments in IR technology.

Industrial Imaging

The biggest challenge before the manufacturing industry is probably to deliver products of the highest quality in the shortest time at competitive prices. For the characterization/inspection of complex geometries or critical features located inside the materials, non-destructive imaging technologies are used.

Borescope Body

A borescope is an optical device consisting of a rigid or flexible tube with an eyepiece on one end, an objective lens on the other linked together by a relay optical system in between. An internal image of the illuminated object is formed by the objective lens and magnified by the eyepiece which presents it to the viewer’s eye.

Machine Vision Industrial

Machine Vision Industrial

Industrial machine vision applications include automated inspection, gauging, and counting in addition to reading barcodes and optical characters (OCR). Machine vision systems use advanced hardware and software components to perform these functions at higher speeds, reliability and with greater precision.

Machine Vision Micro Body

Machine Vision Micro Body

With a long history of providing top quality and delivery of intricate parts including prototype optical components, Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a customer to make micro video lens body for machine vision applications in dental oral cameras, reading documents or optical character recognition.

Machine Vision Projection

Machine Vision Projection

In machine vision systems, an inspection of an object is done using a combination of sensor technologies such as a camera and an illumination source. The amount of information that can be extracted from a 2D camera is limited. The human vision system integrates information over time including depth.

MV Semiconductor

Machine vision technology is applied in all stages of the manufacturing process to ensure consistent assembly quality of electronic products and semiconductors. Machine vision applications for semiconductor manufacturing include wire bonding, wafer probing, lead frame inspection, wafer dicing and die bonding.

MV Metrology Optics

With more than three decades of history and experience in optical design and manufacturing of optical and optomechanical systems, Syntec Optics is the source for all of your machine vision metrology and inspection products and solutions, such as non-contact machine vision measurement, telecentric lenses, etc.

Bioinstrument

Bioinstrument

CNC turning and milling capabilities at SyntecOptics.com enable us to manufacture bioinstrumentation components for applications such as complex DNA sequencing, blood analyzing, electrocardiographs, cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators, blood pressure & flow monitors.

Life Sciences

The measurement of physiological, biological and physical parameters using instruments in living organisms is termed as Bioinstrumentation. Biomedical devices are an amalgamation of biology, sensors, interface electronics, microcontrollers, and computer programming.

Medical Technology

Medicine has always relied on the most advanced technologies of the day. Those technologies can range from simple heart monitors to artificial organs. The need for better, more accurate devices has seen the study of a bioinstrumentation boom. The field of bioinstrumentation has seemingly endless possibilities.

Blood Analyzer

Blood Analyzers count the number of different types of red and white blood cells, blood platelets, hemoglobin, and hematocrit levels in a blood sample using both electrical and optical techniques. Optical detection helps to gain a differential count of the populations of white cell types.

Micro-Positioning

With a long history of providing top quality and delivery of intricate parts with custom optical design, Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a customer to make components for small motion systems. The small size, extremely tight tolerances, and material requirement all contribute to the difficulty of machining.
