Plastic Optics Probe

Syntec Optics is working on designing components for a plastic optics probe for colon cancer biopsy. Optical probes can distinguish between normal and abnormal tissues in vivo without removing them. Syntec Optics is also involved in developing spectrographs in collaboration with leading academic institutions to differentiate polyps.
