Machine Vision Micro Body

With a long history of providing top quality and delivery of intricate parts, including prototype optical components, Wordingham Technologies was contacted by a customer to make a micro body (video lens) for machine vision applications in dental imaging oral cameras, reading documents, or optical character recognition. The small size of the through bore and the right size and runout callouts make this part challenging. Locating the part for a second operation accurately enough to hold the GD&T specs makes the fixturing crucial to success.
