Ultem Optical Retainer

An optomechanical assembly consists of mechanical components, such as an Ultem optical retainer, critical to holding the constituent components together. Wordingham makes a retainer made out of 20% glass-filled Ultem. We have very aggressive target pricing for these in production volumes. They often have multiple sharp vignette features, making it difficult to produce sharp edges that are also burr-free.
